Stutter fixes

1. Change Nvidia Control Panel settings

Open Nvidia Control Panel
Click on Manage 3D settings > Program Settings > and locate COTK.exe from the drop down menu. Add if not there in the list
Set Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames to 1 (some systems might also benefit from higher values)
Enable Threaded Optimization
Set Power Management to Prefer Maximum Performance
Keep Texture Filtering at Performance/Max performance
Set Multi-Display/Mixed GPU Acceleration to Single display performance mode.

2. Set priority

Start COTK
Press Alt+Tab to minimize the game
Open Task Manager
Click on Details tab
Search for the process COTK.exe or ActionRPG.exe from the list.
Right click on the process and Set Priority to High

3. Set compatibility mode to Windows 7

1. Right click on the program's shortcut, .exe file, or installation file.
2. Click on Properties.
3. Click on the Compatibility tab.
4. Change the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" dropdown.

4. Run This Program As An Administrator

1. Right-click the program icon (the .exe file).
2. Choose Properties.
3. On the Compatibility tab, select the Run This Program As An Administrator option.

5. Use RTSS to limit FPS to 60, 40 or 30.

6. Install to an SSD

7. Ensure your pagefile is set correctly (try to keep your pagefile on your system drive, which is preferably an SSD)
